Nuclear is
New Resources for Indonesia
Indonesia
is famous as the country which have many natural resources, but it all not
immortal, in one day it will run out. Scientists searching alternative way to
produce resources that can change natural resources, finally they choose
nuclear to change it, but there are arguments which disagree with this project.
The
whole world to know, Indonesia is the country with abundant natural resources,
among these resources there are uranium which is needed to make nuclear
reactor, even the uranium can meet the electrical energy needs for hundreds
years.
Many
nuclear experts in Indonesia are form of readiness, for examples in the
University of ITB has 20 doctoral nuclear experts who work and study in Japan
as well as doing research in Bandung.
In
addition to the two factors above, there is important thing; Indonesia has an
ideal location to make a nuclear reactor, located at the Bangka Belitung and
Kalimantan. Government in the region also approved to build nuclear reactors on
their region.
Like
making MRT in Jakarta, building of nuclear reactors also reap cons. We still
remember when nuclear reactor in Japan leak, it makes production food from
there is banned in 2011.
According
to nuclear experts, if nuclear reactor leak we need one year to resolving this
problem, but if we have many nuclear experts it can be reduced.
In
Indonesia maybe have a lot of uranium, but Indonesia still less experience in
the processing of uranium that is still dependent on other countries. This
problem is able resolving in future with the nuclear experts who have
experienced.
We
know, natural resources is not immortal, each day is reduce. Thus, the
government should create new resources for this country and give support for nuclear
experts to raise experience, so in the future Indonesia can build nuclear which
useful for our life.
